Whoa. The excitement I am feeling as I prepare this blog is hard to describe with words. Brad and Kathryn have a story of heartache, perseverance, and hope. For the last several years, they have been trying to grow their little family. After the loss of two babies in the womb, 4 years of unsuccessful infertility treatments, and many negative pregnancy tests the Helton’s became pregnant with a little boy. Even with the history she has had, Kathryn told me that she was able to maintain a peaceful and hopeful spirit throughout her pregnancy. She clung to Isaiah 66:9, “…I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born, says the Lord…” (New Century Version). Getting to know this family and participating in their journey has impacted me in such profound ways. I am forever thankful for the connection we now have. I hope you take the time to watch their fusion film (stills + video). It takes you along through this birth story in such a way that you feel as though you were there. Grab some tissues and enjoy meeting little Noah Leland Helton. Their rainbow baby. 🙂
